Window Treatments In The Dining Nook

Finally, after 9 years, we have window treatments in our dining nook. I almost can't believe it. It's been a challenge finding something I liked that would work on this very wide (110 inches) window without spending a fortune. Sorry these pictures aren't so great - it's difficult to get good ones with all the light that comes in.  I guess it's a good problem to have since I love having big windows and lots of natural light.

Some old books are always a great accessory.
The original knobs were nickel and I decided to change them  out with some wooden ones that I found at Target.

The bottom shelf was fun to decorate as well.

This is such a long wall that I decided to fill it in even more with this old screen door that I've had forever but  had never found a good place for it.

I had to dress it up a little too so I added this old banker's bag that I found at an antique store.

A little stool and bu…

Romantic Rooms for Valentine's Day

To celebrate Valentine's Day,  I found some inspiring spaces that I think are dreamy and romantic. We all need a little romance in our lives, right? I hope you like them as much as I do.
