NEW BATHROOM REVEAL

Our bathroom remodel that began over
a year ago is finally finished.
~ sooo happy ~

bathroom remodel

We are working on finishing up a few details  ~
like the hardware on the cabinets . . .

mirrors . . .

and blinds for the windows.

Around the corner is the bathtub.
The shower curtain is from Target
and the only decorating I have done so far.

We chose Portfolio Ellicott wall lights from Lowes.

Moen Boardwalk faucets also from Lowes ~ love them.

Since this is our kids' bathroom, we tried to choose
materials that would be kid proof like wood laminate flooring.

The cabinetry is Thomasville thermofoil in cashmere.
The countertops and tub surround are cultured marble -
no grout lines to clean - yeah!

Now comes the fun part - accessorizing!

Here's a reminder of the teensy bathroom we started with ~

So what do you think so far?
I'll be back soon to show you the after
with all the fun stuff added.

Thanks for taking a look!!

  4. WOW!

We live in a tiny cottage with one little bathroom. There isn't much room to do much in our bathroom.

I love the shower curtain and those wall lights.

  16. Looking good, Joanne! All your hard work is about to pay off and beautifully, if I might add! Hmm...I’m not so sure with the hardwood laminate flooring on your bathroom. Aren’t you worried about water damage? Either way, your bathroom is really coming along. It actually looks pretty roomy, judging by the pictures.

  17. Your new bathroom is very spacious indeed, considering it took a year to finish. The results are undeniably good. If you don't mind me asking, how did you come up with the ideas for your new bathroom design? Thanks for sharing!

  18. Just as what Don and Essie stated, the space is distinctively noticeable. It'll surely help you guys move around the bathroom easier. It can also make certain areas accessible to repairs, just in case. How's it now? Do you have any other areas of your house that you got renovated or planning to improve in the future?

  19. Bathroom refurbishments can take a lot of skill to get right. You look like you did a great job on the finish. Designer taps and a good sink set really bring the whole bathroom together but would you consider a heated towel rail? They help keep away the damp smell that can plague some bathrooms.

  20. Those floors are gorgeous. I think that might be my favorite style of flooring. But I also suppose it depends on the home. Sometimes brick or stone can also be quite nice. But there is just something about wood floors that makes me feel like I am welcome there. My favorite are probably the super wide slats like your flooring.
