Hi Everyone,
Our son graduated from high school at the end of May.
We had a big family party after the ceremony and many of our
relatives from out of town came so it was a wonderful day.
It was such a crazy busy time that I didn't get a chance to take any pictures of the decorations
for his party but I thought I would show you the announcement that I designed using Picmonkey.
I really love doing things like that and I could easily spend hours playing around with it.
I used Overnight Prints to have them printed and I was very happy with how they turned out.
It was very inexpensive as well.
I can't help but brag a little bit and show you some of his graduation pictures.
He can be kind of a serious kid but his whole face lights up when he smiles ~
which makes my heart melt.
Here is a picture of us along with my 94 year old father-in-law.
My father-in-law is someone I greatly admire.
He is such a good person - so kind, moral, loving and humble.
I am grateful that he has been so close to Andrew and a role model for him.
Sadly, my mother-in-law passed away a few years ago.
She and my father-in-law had been married for over 60 years.
She was a wonderful person as well and Andrew has her beautiful smile.
And here is Andrew with my beautiful Mom.
She has been a big part of his life too.
He has been lucky to have such loving grandparents
who care so much about him.
Of course we are so proud of Andrew.
No one could ask for a better son and we love him to pieces!
Happily he has chosen a college that is close to home so that makes
this Momma very happy!
And now, we have just returned from vacation so maybe life
will be a little less hectic - haha!
I'll be back soon with some pictures of adorable cottages from the
little beach town where we vacationed.
Thanks a bunch for visiting!
Joanne, what great memories you have captured. Great photos. Congratulations to your son. It's an exciting time for a family. Our youngest is starting his junior year at Ball State this year. I'm thankful for the grandparents he has had too. Like you, my father in law is also 94 years old. It's amazing how fast time goes by and how quickly our children grow up. I wish him lots of luck at college.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Joanne, to you and your son! He has the bluest eyes! We are in the throes of prom/ graduation week right now! It is such a crazy, bittersweet time. I watched home videos last night and cannot believe how fast it has all gone by. I am sure you can relate. :) Sounds like a dreamy vacation. I can't wait for a peek!

ReplyDeleteCongrats Joanne to your sweet and very handsome son. What a wonderful accomplishment. Glad he found a college near home. That will make the first year transition so much easier for all of you. What a cute cottage. Did you stay in this cottage? Can't wait to hear about your vacation.

Congratulations to your son. I'm catching up after being away without a connection so I'm a bit late with my best wishes to him. Thank you for sharing your wonderful family with us.
